The cost of the war

The war in Iraq has not only cost the United States many deaths and a loss foreign support.
The war is also costing our country 1.6 trillion of dollars and the cost could be rising to 3.5 trillion dollars by 2017. The impact is felt by many Americans and the damage of cost the war will be carried on for many generations. Americans are feeling the cost of the war through the high oil prices the lack of funding for veterans. The cost of the war has become a pink elephant in a room and needs to be stopped by pulling out our troops and focusing the money on internal issues. The 1.6 trillion dollars that spend the on the war could be used on reforming the education system which is in much need of a tune up or reforming the prison system. Before we can do this we need to pull out our troops.
